About Us

Welcome to BSMS, the largest middle school in Spartanburg County! We have over 1,100 students, approximately 80 teachers, and over 110 total staff members that are ready to serve this incredible community!

Academics

BSMS was recently named a Palmetto’s Silver School based off our Good Ratings in both Academic Achievement and Student Progress on our latest school report card.

Athletics

The Bulldogs compete in 12 different sports and are members of the Peachtree Conference where we have brought home lots of trophies and hung multiple banners!

Opportunities

Students can participate in several in-school and after-school programs such as; Band, Chorus, Orchestra, Beta Club, Math Counts, eSports, Art Club, Girls on the Run, etc… All students will get to choose their favorite club and enjoy “Club Hour” throughout the school year.
